How it works

Letterhead

Company name, address and contact print at the top; the reference number and date sit below it.

Salary lines

Basic, HRA, other allowances and the deductions. Gross, net and the amount in words are computed.

Purpose and sign

Pick the purpose the bank or embassy asked for, add the signatory, then preview and print or save as PDF.

What a bank wants in a salary certificate

A salary certificate is the employer's confirmation of employment and pay, used where a payslip alone is not accepted: home and car loan files, credit cards, visa applications and rental agreements. Lenders look for the letterhead, a date within the last month, the designation and date of joining, the gross and net monthly pay, and a signature with the signatory's designation. The purpose line and the no-guarantee sentence protect the employer.

Letterhead and signature

Print on letterhead or embed it, and sign with a stamp. Banks reject plain-paper certificates.

Match the payslip

Figures should agree with the last three payslips and Form 16; lenders cross-check.

Gross vs net

Most lenders underwrite on net salary; give both so the reader does not have to ask.

Not a guarantee

The closing sentence makes clear the company is not standing surety for the employee's loan.
